Architectural Design
For over a century Mount Desert Island has been known for its large shingle-style “cottages”: summer homes of the nation’s most successful people. Four unique designs perfectly capturing this vernacular have been created. Porches on both levels maximize the ocean views. Floor plans have been carefully designed to create large open areas that bring natural light into each home.
